Huzzah! Today I've made Calcifer, some metal pauldron and the silhouette of the Yamato ship! The drawing of Calcifer was an improvement on more of my shading and also giving a shot at drawing what fire would be. I completely glossed over the burn marks on the wooden plank but that was intentional. Reusing the same strategy for drawing wooden plank last week, I think the wooden plank here was also pretty decent. The only thing I would criticize would be the ground. Up next I drew some metal pauldron to see how I would do metal in the future and it didn't seem that bad. Biggest part of it seems to be the reflection highlight. Then lastly I did the silhouette of Yamato and this was to see if I can achieve the threatening effect of a battleship purely by the shape. I made sure some parts were sharp and that ccertain parts of the ship would actually be white, further signifying its on a look out. Think I did pretty good with it! And thats all. :D
